Last season we did our weekly rookie quarterback tracker, but with only one taken in the first round of 2022, we’ve moved onto another highly coveted position. For 2022, we’ll keep track of all six first-round wide receivers and their progress throughout the year. The Brooklyn Nets honored the life of recently deceased superfan Jeffrey Vanchiro—known as Jeffrey Gamblero—tonight with a video tribute, as well as t-shirts that the whole team and many Nets employees wore. Vanchiro passed away Sunday, after suffering serious injuries when he fell out of a second story window. Prior to tonight's game against the Heat, the Nets played a montage of Gamblero videos and photos, as well as holding a moment of silence. The 19.73 seconds it took Usain Bolt to break the tape in the 200 meter finals of the Diamond League meet in Paris was the quickest 200 meters anyone has run this year, edging Tyson Gay's 19.74 in the U.S. World Championships in June. For as fast as that is, it's still more than a half-second off Bolt's own world record of 19.19, so you've indeed seen him run faster.
